Moderation Actions

‌Moderation‌ ‌actions‌ ‌are‌ ‌carried‌ ‌out‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Bot ‌user‌ ‌interface.‌ ‌

Click‌ ‌on‌ ‌the‌ ‌user‌ ‌to‌ ‌see‌ ‌their‌ ‌profile.‌ ‌This‌ ‌contains‌ ‌their‌ ‌basic‌ ‌information,‌ ‌roles,‌ ‌aliases‌ ‌and‌ ‌moderation‌ ‌history.‌ ‌The‌ ‌number‌ ‌below‌ ‌their‌ ‌avatar‌ ‌is‌ ‌their‌ ‌points‌ ‌score.‌

  1. Optionally select‌ ‌one‌ ‌or‌ ‌more‌ ‌messages‌ ‌you‌ ‌wish‌ ‌to‌ ‌attach‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌moderation‌ ‌action.‌ ‌You‌ ‌can‌ ‌do‌ ‌so‌ ‌just‌ ‌by‌ ‌clicking‌ ‌on‌ ‌additional‌ ‌messages‌ ‌from‌ ‌the‌ ‌same‌ ‌user.‌
  2. Choose‌ ‌a‌ ‌reason from‌ ‌the‌ ‌dropdown‌ ‌list.‌‌ ‌This‌ ‌will‌ ‌allow‌ ‌the‌ ‌bot‌ ‌to‌ ‌provide‌ ‌background‌ ‌info‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌user‌ ‌on‌ ‌the‌ ‌reason‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌moderation‌ ‌action.
  3. You‌ ‌can‌ ‌add‌ ‌further‌ ‌narrative description‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌action.‌ ‌Some‌ ‌actions‌ ‌will‌ ‌require‌ ‌additional‌ ‌info‌ ‌to‌ ‌be‌ ‌provided, for others a description is optional.‌
  4. Add‌ ‌a‌ ‌private‌ ‌note‌ ‌that‌ ‌is‌ ‌only‌ ‌visible‌ ‌to‌ ‌other‌ ‌moderators.‌ ‌This‌ ‌is‌ ‌an‌ ‌optional‌ ‌step.‌ ‌
  5. Finally,‌ ‌select‌ ‌the‌ ‌moderation action‌ ‌you‌ ‌wish‌ ‌to‌ ‌perform.‌
